Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Senior Associate, Energy Design Engineering to lead and support the energy design team for Olympic venue infrastructure. This role involves evaluating electrical loads, coordinating with external designers, and ensuring compliant, safe temporary power solutions for Games venues.

Reporting to the Director of Energy Design Engineering, you will develop detailed electrical studies, manage risk analyses, and collaborate with Venue Infrastructure, Technology, and Government partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 3+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in electrical design development and energy solutions integration.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360 is preferred.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficient in Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical studies to determine load requirements.
• Perform energy capacity analysis and identify gaps in existing service supply.
• Perform analysis to identify energy-related risks to venue power supply.
• Analyze loading, reliability and resiliency needs and propose solutions.
• Track design revisions and assess impact on HV/MV/LV infrastructure and equipment.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of energy design requirements.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with Venue Infrastructure, Technology, Broadcast, and external partners.
