Job summary

LA28 seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and coordination for Olympic venues. You will oversee internal and external engineers, ensuring designs meet IOC and local standards, while coordinating with architects and other engineers to deliver robust structures for Games venues.

The role requires a bachelor’s in structural engineering (PE a plus) and experience managing complex infrastructure projects, with on-site responsibilities in Downtown Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering design and development with internal/external engineers.

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate structural requirements.
• Prepare and oversee structural portions of venue design books and technical publications.
• Manage external consultants to meet project milestones and budgets.
