Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Senior Manager, Energy Operations Team Lead to oversee the Energy Operations Team, delivering reliable power for all Games venues. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders, external providers, and unions, manage testing, procurement, LOTO, and remote monitoring programs, and drive safety and compliance.

Requirements: bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or construction management and 7 years of relevant experience; proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360; base

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience managing the installation of electrical infrastructure in construction or live events.
• Understanding and experience with electrical engineering design documents.
• Experience working with electric utilities and/or temporary power providers.
• Experience implementing energy solutions into electrical design.
• Commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making.
• Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Energy overlay masterplan coordination between internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Develop and enforce rigorous review processes for energy design requirements.
• Partner with local trade schools and unions to develop training syllabi for temporary power operations.
• Define and ensure compliance with LOTO procedures and safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement, testing, and commissioning of energy infrastructure.
• Lead 24/7 energy operations planning, monitoring, and reporting across venues.
