Job summary

Frontier Energy is seeking a Senior Energy Analyst to lead multifamily energy audits in Minnesota. You will independently plan audits, evaluate building systems, and apply TRM methodologies to quantify savings and incentives.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure QA/QC of analyses, and present findings to diverse audiences, helping clients improve energy efficiency and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certification in energy auditing or building science, or ability to obtain after hire.
• 4+ years of building energy audits, assessments, or related work.
• Experience evaluating building systems and calculating energy savings.
• Strong HVAC knowledge and building envelope awareness.
• Clear communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regionally (occasional overnight).

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document multifamily energy audits across MN area.
• Evaluate HVAC, boilers, DHW, lighting, controls, envelopes for savings.
• Apply TRM methodologies and utility data to determine savings and incentives.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineers for custom measures and additional analysis.
• Perform QA/QC of audits, calculations, and recommendations.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide program guidance.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
