Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Anti-Abuse team within Security Foundations. You will design, build, and scale security-by-default capabilities across a complex multi-cloud environment, using AI/ML to detect threats and enforce policies.

You will partner with Security, Engineering, and Product to shape security strategy, raise engineering standards, and deliver scalable solutions that defend against fraud, account takeover, and data exfiltration at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar language.
• Experience designing, testing, and maintaining security-focused software.
• Track record of leading projects and setting technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale security-by-default capabilities across a complex multi-cloud environment.
• Develop intelligent security platforms and services with AI/ML for threat detection and policy enforcement.
• Build real-time detection and prevention systems against account compromise and data exfiltration.
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Product to define security strategy and drive secure engineering practices.
