Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cyber Endpoint Security Systems Engineer to support SITEC-3 EOM at MacDill AFB, near Tampa, FL. The role focuses on architecting, deploying, and securing enterprise endpoint ecosystems across multi-platform environments.

You will develop detection capabilities, modernize security infrastructure, and ensure tight integration with SIEMs and data lakes. A DoD clearance and strong security background are required.

Qualifications

• DoW TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Security+ certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect, test, and deploy resilient, high-availability endpoint security platform topologies.
• Lead modernization of legacy on-prem endpoint security infrastructure.
• Design migration paths for legacy point products.
• Engineer cross-platform agent compatibility across OSs, containers, and VDI.
• Develop detection rules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Establish and govern endpoint telemetry pipelines to SIEM and data lake.
• Provide Tier 3 engineering escalation for complex OS/driver issues.
