Peraton is seeking a Cyber Endpoint Security Systems Engineer for the SITEC-3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance contract at MacDill AFB, Florida. You will architect and deploy endpoint security across multi‑platform environments, design detection‑as‑code, and enable automated containment to strengthen the cyber defense posture.

Required qualifications include DoD TS/SCI clearance, Security+, and DoD 8140 compliance.

Formación

• Min 12 years with HS Diploma, 10 years AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA degree.
• A DoW TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Security +
• Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 462 - Control Systems Security Specialist - Intermediate level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, test, and deploy resilient, high-availability enterprise endpoint security platform topologies.
• Lead strategic modernization initiatives, including re-architecting legacy on-premises endpoint security infrastructure.
• Design and test migration paths for legacy point products.
• Engineer multi-platform agent compatibility across enterprise operating systems, microservices, containerized workloads, and non-persistent VDI environments.
• Formulate platform sizing, compute/storage scalability models, network bandwidth throttles, and disaster recovery architectures for all endpoint security management systems.
• Develop, test, and deploy custom behavioral detection rules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK to catch novel adversary tradecraft.
• Engineer host-level Attack Surface Reduction baselines (WDAC, App/Ctrl), Credential Guard, Exploit Guard, and Linux kernel modules.
• Establish and govern policy lifecycle for exclusions and tamper-protection configurations.
