Qualifikationen

• Min 12 years with HS Diploma, 10 years AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA degree
• A DoW TS/SCI clearance is required
• Security +
• Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 462 – Control Systems Security Specialist - Intermediate level or higher.

Aufgaben

• Architect, test, and deploy resilient, high-availability enterprise endpoint security platform topologies.
• Lead modernization initiatives, including re-architecting legacy on-prem endpoint security.
• Design and test migration paths for legacy point products.
• Engineer cross-platform agent compatibility across OSs, containers, and non-persistent VDI.
• Model platform sizing, storage, network bandwidth, and DR architectures.
• Develop detection rules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK framework for adversary tradecraft.
• Engineer host-level ASR baselines (WDAC, App Control, Credential Guard).
• Govern exclusion policies, behavioral suppression rules, and tamper protections.
• Design telemetry pipelines to SIEM/data lake environments.
• Operationalize threat intel and hunt indicators into durable signatures and containment triggers.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for OS compatibility bugs and driver interactions.
• Write engineering specs, migration guides, CI/CD detection pipelines, and runbooks.
