Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cyber Systems Operations Manager to support the SITEC 3 EOM at MacDill AFB, FL. The role focuses on designing and implementing technical solutions to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture and resilience across endpoint, network, and SIEM operations.

You will lead a team of security engineers, oversee tool lifecycle, and drive architectural discussions to ensure secure, scalable operations. DoW TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience.
• DoW TS/SCI clearance.
• DoW 8570 IAT II Certification.
• Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 451 - System Administrator - Advanced level.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and Cybersecurity Enclave tools (Endpoint, Network, SIEM, ACAS).

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of security engineers and administrators responsible for maintaining cybersecurity tools and platforms supporting endpoint, network, and SIEM operations.
• Provides technical direction, workload prioritization, and mentorship to ensure consistent engineering standards and effective tool sustainment.
• Oversees configuration management, patching, and lifecycle operations for cyber tools to ensure operational readiness and resilience.
• Conducts technical reviews, validation, and troubleshooting of service configurations and integrations.
• Leads architecture and design discussions across cyber enclaves, network zones, and cloud environments to establish secure, scalable, and integrated solutions.
