Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer/Administrator (Level 3) to design, deploy, and support endpoint management at scale using MECM and Intune in a co-managed environment.

You will own packaging, patching, security remediation, and automation, partnering with Security, Networking, and Support teams to keep endpoints secure and compliant. The role emphasizes automation through PowerShell, advanced scripting, and the use of AI-assisted tools to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related tech field (equivalent experience considered).
• 8+ years IT experience, including 5+ years in infrastructure/endpoint engineering.
• Advanced hands-on MECM/SCCM and Intune expertise including co-management, Autopilot, compliance policies, and Win32 deployment.
• Experience remediating security vulnerabilities with CVE triage and patch-compliance reporting.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting (functions, modules, remoting, Graph API) with VBScript familiarity.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex incidents at scale in distributed endpoint environments.
• Strong packaging experience (.MSI/.MST, Win32) using PSAppDeployToolkit, Advanced Installer, Orca.
• Experience managing third-party patching programs (Patch My PC, Ivanti, etc.).
• Solid AD and GPO understanding for managing users/computers.
• Networking fundamentals and how they affect client-server communication and content delivery.
• Experience with Windows 11 deployment, BIOS/UEFI, BitLocker, Defender.
• Experience with virtualization tech (Citrix, VMware) a plus.
• Proven ability to deliver thoughtful, timely solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Package, test, and deploy Windows and third-party apps via MECM/Intune with reliable detection logic.
• Configure MECM/Intune co-management settings across enterprise endpoints.
• Design, write, and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities in partnership with Security.
• Patch third-party apps to minimize vulnerability exposure windows.
• Apply networking knowledge to resolve client communication and content distribution issues.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to speed up scripting and remediation; track work in JIRA and GitHub.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Networking, Security, and Support teams to develop endpoint solutions.
• Triage and resolve escalations from Endpoint Support and Security teams.
