Platinum Technologies, a Northern Virginia–based firm, seeks an experienced Senior Endpoint Support Engineer with Azure/Intune/SCCM background to lead migration initiatives and serve as a senior escalation point. This remote role requires active Secret clearance and collaboration across Endpoint Engineering, Security, and Service Desk teams.

You will support migration activities, manage post-migration stabilization, and troubleshoot complex Windows endpoints while driving automation and process

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and 2+ years' relevant experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise IT support, desktop engineering, or service desk operations.
• Azure/Intune/SCCM background with Tier 3 support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Intune, MECM/SCCM, Autopilot, Group Policy, and AD/Entra ID.
• Experience with endpoint migrations and large-scale deployments.
• Strong networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Excellent communication and incident management skills.
• 8570 compliance mindset and ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Provide Tier 3 technical support for endpoint migration, deployment, provisioning, and post-migration stabilization.
• Troubleshoot complex Windows endpoint issues related to OS, drivers, apps, profiles, authentication, networking, peripherals.
• Support endpoint migration activities including device replacement, OS upgrades, hardware refreshes, profile/data migration, app deployment, user cutover.
• Investigate and resolve migration failures, deployment errors, application compatibility issues, configuration problems.
• Serve as escalation point for Tier 1/2 Service Desk and provide guidance.
• Partner with Endpoint Engineering to identify root causes and remediation strategies.
• Support endpoint management platforms like Intune, SCCM/MECM, Autopilot.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, authentication, VPN, printing.
• Assist with endpoint security controls and policy troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain technical docs, runbooks, and procedures.
