Houston Methodist is seeking an Endoscopy Technician II to provide high-quality support to GI providers and the healthcare team. The role includes preparation for endoscopy procedures, cleaning and high-level disinfection of endoscopes, and assisting with turnaround activities.

Mentoring Endo Tech I staff is expected, with independence and sound clinical judgment. Requirements include a high school diploma and at least three years of Endoscopy Technician experience, plus BLS certification.

Formación

• Three years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician.
• Proficient in English language for patient safety.
• Demonstrates ability to mentor others.
• Competent in endoscopy equipment cleaning and high-level disinfection.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with GI endoscopy procedures preparation and turnaround.
• Clean and high-level disinfect endoscopes and accessories.
• Mentor Endo Tech I's and train new staff.
• Anticipate physician needs during procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality care.
