Job summary

Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join the GI team. The role involves assisting in endoscopy procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff.

Candidates should have 3 years in Endoscopy, High School diploma, and BLS certification. Proficiency with EPIC and MS Office is required; strong communication and teamwork are essential. Willingness to train toward SGNA certification is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Proficient with EPIC and MS Office; able to access hospital databases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interprofessional health care team and reports patient information clearly.
• Mentors Endo Tech I's and assists with training.
• Maintains orderly environment and inventory; supports efficiency and safety in procedures.
• Performs endoscopy procedures with Level I/II GI expertise and ERCP tasks as needed.
• Demonstrates strong communication with patients, physicians, and staff.
