Job summary

Life-Science Innovations, LLC in Willmar, MN offers a Sr. End User Computing Engineer / Telecommunication Engineer role focusing on endpoint management, security, and modernization.

You will work closely with IT teams, vendors, and leaders to deliver secure, scalable endpoint solutions and support telecom/Teams Phone responsibilities. The position is hybrid, requiring at least two days onsite weekly, with regular in-person engagement with local customers and potential occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT experience with endpoint administration, desktop engineering, or related roles.
• Experience managing Windows endpoints and endpoint management platforms, including Intune, Autopilot, SCCM/Endpoint Configuration Manager, Endpoint Central.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, and end-user technologies.
• Strong understanding of endpoint security, including encryption, vulnerability remediation, device compliance, and baselines.
• Senior technical decision-making, risk evaluation, and balancing security, usability, and cost.
• Experience maintaining endpoint standards, provisioning, deployment, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, management, security, and modernization of endpoint environment.
• Design, implement, and optimize endpoint management using Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint Central, Entra ID, and Group Policy.
• Establish device provisioning standards, baselines, compliance policies, and lifecycle processes.
• Oversee Windows upgrades, device replacements, app deployment, patching, enrollment, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Strengthen endpoint security through encryption, hardening, remediation, and CIS-aligned configurations.
• Own problems end-to-end, coordinating across endpoint, systems, network, security, service desk, and vendors.
• Develop technical documentation, standards, processes, and support procedures.
• Support telecom and Teams Phone services as needed and participate in IT projects and ITSM processes.
