Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data and processes, conduct root cause analysis, and create reports to support business needs. You will work with claims and encounter data, writing SQL queries and producing insights for ongoing improvements.

The role requires 1+ years in programming/analytics, healthcare experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience including writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in a data warehouse environment and handling large data sets from multiple sources.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to varied audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills within and across teams.
• Experience with Claims/Encounters in Healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports for data trends and anomalies.
• Define, identify, develop, and implement system enhancements to support business goals.
• Assist in development and prioritization of system updates; execute test scripts and report outcomes.
• Write and modify queries, interpret results, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Manage multiple projects and ensure results meet expectations.
• Establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
