Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 plus years of relevant programming or analytical experience. Including development and experience with writing complex queries using SQL.
• Experience in working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information to various audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills within and across teams.
• Claims/Encounters experience. (Healthcare Industry experience)

Responsibilities

• Daily activities include writing simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports on both an ad hoc and production basis for analysis of data trends or anomalies impacting business success.
• Proactively define, identify, develop, and implement system enhancements or modifications to support business strategic goals.
• Assists and participates in the development and prioritization of system updates. Executes test scripts and reports outcomes or defects.
• Candidate must be proficient in SQL, able to write and modify queries, interpret results, conduct root cause analysis, develop short- and long-term solutions following through to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects forward simultaneously and be responsible for the results.
• Ability to establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
