Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data and processes, performing root cause analysis and creating reports as needed to support business needs within healthcare encounters data.

The role emphasizes writing complex SQL queries, working with data warehouses, and collaborating with stakeholders across teams to drive system enhancements and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience including development and experience with writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in a data warehouse environment and ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to present information to various audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills within and across teams and healthcare claims/encounters experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business data and processes; conduct root cause analysis and create reports.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and reports for data trends and anomalies.
• Proactively define and implement system enhancements to support business goals.
• Participate in system updates; execute test scripts and report outcomes or defects.
• Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
