Job summary
J T seeks a Manufacturing Operations Manager for an EMS/PCBA facility in Seymour, CT. Lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, and quality to drive SQDCP performance and lean transformation.
Responsibilities include capacity planning, master scheduling, SMT/PTH, DFM/DFT alignment, NPI ramp, and capital projects while ensuring ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100D, and ITAR compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 8–10 years leading EMS/PCBA manufacturing operations
- Experience in regulated sectors (A&D, Medical Devices)
- Strong knowledge of SMT, PTH, conformal coating, box build, and functional test
- Proficient in ERP/MRP and capacity planning
- CAD software and advanced Excel skills
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred
- Executive communication and change leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead Tier 1–Tier 3 daily management and frontline leadership
- Drive OEE, SMED, line balancing, and takt-time alignment
- Oversee NPI ramp with DFM/DFT input
- Manage capital projects for SMT platforms and automation
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100D, ITAR
- Develop and manage operating budgets and margin strategies
