Job summary

Wilshire Law Firm seeks a Senior Litigation Attorney in Employment to help lead the firm’s expansion into the Pacific Northwest, notably Washington and Oregon. You will own significant matters, shape strategy, and help build the employment practice in the region.

The role focuses on wage-and-hour class and FLSA collective actions, along with single-plaintiff discrimination, retaliation, harassment, accommodation, and wrongful-termination cases. Collaboration with a strong team is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Washington and/or Oregon Bar membership.
• 7+ years of employment litigation experience including wage-and-hour class or collective actions and single-plaintiff matters.
• Strong command of litigation strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and mediation.
• Trial or substantial trial-preparation experience.
• In-depth knowledge of plaintiff and defense communities in Washington and Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex employment litigation from intake through resolution, trial, or appeal.
• Develop case, certification, discovery, damages, and settlement strategies.
• Litigate claims under applicable state and federal wage laws and employment statutes.
• Handle matters before state and federal agencies (e.g., L&I, EEOC).
• Lead motion practice, depositions, class and collective certification, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Mentor attorneys and collaborate with a litigation support team.
• Help build Wilshire’s presence and reputation in the Pacific Northwest.
