Job summary

Jobot partners with a national law firm to hire experienced employment litigators in California and New Jersey. You will lead employment defense matters, supervise attorneys and staff, and advise clients on risk management while developing your practice alongside seasoned litigators.

The role offers direct client exposure, collaboration with experienced litigators, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of employment litigation defense experience.
• Active California bar admission or New Jersey admission (Hackensack).
• Substantial wage-and-hour and employment class action experience.
• Supervision and leadership of attorneys and staff.
• Strong state and federal litigation writing and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead employment defense matters through resolution, including wage and hour disputes and class/collective actions.
• Supervise attorneys and legal staff, guide litigation strategy, and maintain docket quality.
• Represent employers in state and federal courts and before employment agencies.
• Counsel clients on workplace issues and risk management.
• Support client development and collaborate with other practice groups.
