Job summary

Rissmiller PLLC seeks a Senior Associate with 4+ years of substantive employment litigation to lead a growing practice. You will serve as lead counsel on a range of matters, including sexual harassment, discrimination, whistleblower, and wage-and-hour actions.

Expect to develop discovery strategies, take key depositions, and argue substantive motions, with travel to NYC for in-person appearances. The ideal candidate has strong academic credentials, NY federal court experience, and a track record

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active NY State Bar admission (S.D.N.Y., E.D.N.Y).
• 4+ years of employment litigation experience, managing discovery, depositions, and substantive motions.
• Experience in at least one jury trial as first or second chair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse caseload from pre-litigation to trial.
• Draft and argue complex discovery and dispositive motions.
• Represent clients as lead counsel in federal/state court hearings, arbitrations, and depositions.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to high-level firm strategy.
