Job summary

Crea Legal Search seeks a Labor & Employment Associate for its New York office. The candidate will handle employment litigation, counseling, and traditional labor matters, with 4–7 years of experience and a JD from an accredited law school.

NY bar admission or waiver is required/possible. The role involves drafting pleadings, advising clients on compliance with laws, investigating workplace misconduct, and negotiating settlements, with support to senior attorneys on complex cases and trial

Qualifications

4–7 years of experience in employment litigation, counseling, and traditional labor work.
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York bar, or the ability to waive in asap.

Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for employment litigation cases.
Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on labor and employment matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Assist with internal investigations into workplace misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions in employment disputes.
Provide support to Senior Attorneys in complex matters, including trial preparation and appearances.
