Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced employment litigation attorney to serve as a trusted legal advisor to Amazon's operations teams. You will counsel on the full spectrum of employment law matters, manage high-stakes litigation, and direct regulatory investigations from inception to resolution.

This role offers strategic partnership with business leaders at a globally innovative company. You will lead complex wage-hour and class/collective actions, collaborate with HR and Legal, and guide outside

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in one state or equivalent.
• 5+ years of post-bar admission legal experience.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in Employment Law.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded legal advisor to Amazon's operations teams, providing day-to-day employment law counsel.
• Advise on employment-related legal risks arising from logistics operations.
• Partner with business leaders to mitigate employment law exposure.
• Provide risk assessments and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on employment law matters.
• Lead complex employment litigation including class actions, PAGA, and high-exposure single-plaintiff cases.
• Develop litigation strategy and manage case portfolios from complaint through resolution.
• Assess, select, and supervise outside counsel on employment litigation matters.
• Support regulatory responses and government investigations related to employment practices.
