Amazon’s Legal Department seeks an experienced litigator to manage its worldwide portfolio of government enforcement, litigation, and regulatory matters. You will supervise government disputes, interact with regulators, set case strategy, and coordinate with senior leadership on risk management.

The role requires handling both affirmative and defensive litigation across Amazon’s businesses, including discovery, with strong communications to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience.
• 5+ years of litigation and regulatory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Handling and supervising a wide range of government disputes and regulatory engagements across all Amazon businesses; interacting with government officials at local, state, and federal levels.
• Directing overall case and matter strategy; selecting and managing outside counsel.
• Assessing risk and coordinating with senior leadership on risk management; counseling internal stakeholders on complex legal and policy issues.
• Managing all stages of both affirmative and defensive litigation, including discovery.
