Job summary

Amazon seeks an experienced attorney to serve as a trusted legal advisor and employment litigator for its operations teams. You will counsel leaders on the full spectrum of employment law matters while directing high-stakes litigation from inception to resolution.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and bar membership required.
• Minimum 5+ years of post-bar legal experience.
• 5+ years of litigation experience; experience in Employment Law preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded legal advisor to Amazon's operations teams on employment law matters and risk mitigation.
• Lead and manage employment litigation, including class actions, PAGA, and high-exposure single-plaintiff cases.
• Develop litigation strategy and manage portfolios from complaint through resolution.
• Assess, select, and supervise outside counsel on employment litigation matters.
• Support regulatory responses and government investigations related to employment practices.
