Job summary

Permanent Placements LLC client seeks a Senior Employment Litigation Associate or Of Counsel to join its Atlanta office. The candidate will independently manage and lead employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling a broad range of workplace disputes including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, FLSA wage and hour disputes, and related state claims.

Qualifications

• Active membership in the Georgia Bar
• Significant employment litigation experience
• Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters
• Strong writing, analytical, advocacy, and client counseling skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and case management abilities

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a full caseload of employment litigation matters
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
• Develop litigation strategy and provide practical legal guidance to clients
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with hearings and other litigation-related proceedings
