Job summary

Orionplacement in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Employment Litigation Counsel to own complex employment matters from inception to resolution, in state and federal courts, with direct client interaction. You will draft motions, supervise depositions, and guide discovery under a collaborative team framework.

Ideal candidates have active Georgia bar admission and 3+ years of substantive litigation, including employment matters.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing is required.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience is required.
• 1+ year of employment litigation experience is preferred.
• Experience independently managing litigation matters and client relationships.
• Strong legal research, writing, deposition, discovery, and motion practice skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution in state and federal courts.
• Develop effective case strategies and provide practical legal guidance to clients.
• Draft and argue substantive motions and represent clients in hearings.
• Take and defend depositions and oversee complex discovery.
• Lead mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Handle EEOC charges and other employment-related administrative matters.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and paralegals to deliver exceptional legal services.

Location

Note

Applicants must have an active Georgia Bar license in good standing and at least 3 years of litigation experience. Employment litigation experience is strongly preferred, but we welcome accomplished litigators from other practice areas who can demonstrate strong case management skills and sound legal judgment.
