Our national law firm client is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to join its Atlanta practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an employment litigator looking to handle sophisticated workplace disputes, take greater ownership of complex litigation matters, and work directly with clients on high-stakes employment issues.

The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience representing clients in employment-related litigation, with strong deposition, motion practice, and case management skills.

Role Overview

The attorney will handle a broad range of employment litigation matters, including:

• Workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims


• Wage and hour disputes


• Restrictive covenant and non-compete litigation


• Complex employment-related disputes


• Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery motions


• Taking and defending depositions


• Preparing witnesses for depositions and other proceedings


• Managing written discovery and document productions


• Developing litigation strategies and evaluating case risks


• Preparing matters for hearings, mediation, and trial


• Advising clients on litigation exposure and dispute resolution strategies


• Managing employment litigation matters through various stages of the litigation process


• Collaborating with attorneys and clients on complex employment issues

Candidate Profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school


• Active Georgia Bar membership required


• 5+ years of legal practice experience


• Substantial experience handling employment litigation matters


• Experience with discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant disputes


• Strong experience drafting and arguing substantive motions


• Experience taking and defending depositions


• Ability to manage complex employment litigation matters


• Strong strategic thinking and risk assessment skills


• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills


• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills


• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple active matters


• Willingness to learn basic commercial contract review is a plus
