Job summary

Larson Maddox partners with a leading national consumer organization to recruit a senior employment attorney for its legal leadership team. The role is based in the greater Boston area with a hybrid schedule of three days in the office.

The attorney will serve as the senior employment law specialist, manage two attorneys, provide practical counsel on a wide range of employment matters, and work closely with HR and senior executives to mitigate risk and drive compliant business decisions.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active bar membership.
• 10+ years of substantive employment law experience.
• Experience supporting a large, multi-state workforce.
• Strong employment litigation experience.
• Experience managing and developing attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's employment law function and advise senior leadership.
• Manage two attorneys and oversee litigation and outside counsel.
• Provide practical counsel on hiring, terminations, compensation, leaves, and workplace policy.
• Conduct workplace investigations and mitigate employment risk.
• Partner with HR and executives on strategic initiatives.
