SentinelOne, Inc. is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel, Employment, to provide strategic employment law guidance across a global organization, with a primary US focus. This role partners with the People team and cross-functional stakeholders, and supports other jurisdictions as needed.

The position is hybrid, requiring in-office collaboration one day per week at the Mountain View, CA office. Ideal candidate has 8+ years of in-house and broad employment-law experience.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent with 8+ years of employment law experience, including significant in-house work.
• Experience advising on US employment law frameworks (non-competes, separations, disability claims, background checks, pay transparency).
• Experience across multiple jurisdictions and with sales compensation matters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor on full employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance, compensation, and terminations.
• Partner with People and stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate employment risks.
• Develop and rollout employment policies and handbooks for global scale with local compliance.
• Lead internal investigations and support remediation efforts.
• Use data to track trends, manage spend, and present insights to leadership.
• Manage outside counsel relationships, invoices, and matter tracking.
