Job summary

Real Staffing Group is seeking an on-site Employee Relations Manager for a 4-month contract in Canaan, CT, with potential for a permanent role. The role reports to the Associate Director, Employee Relations, and provides expert guidance to managers, HR partners, and associates on employee relations matters.

The incumbent will review actions, manage performance processes, conduct investigations, and work with legal/accommodation teams on complex issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred in management, HR, or psychology) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of six years of direct employee relations experience, including handling complex and sensitive cases.
• Strong knowledge of US employment law (ADA, FLSA, DOL Title VII, FMLA, USSERA).
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; professional integrity is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review corrective actions, performance management, and termination documentation.
• Conduct internal investigations and document findings; identify and analyze legal/compliance risks.
• Partner with legal and accommodation teams on complex issues such as terminations and investigations.
• Stay current with employment laws and best practices; provide strategic guidance to senior leadership.
• Support annual performance reviews and develop training with Global Learning teams.
• Track employee relations trends and lead improvement projects within the team.
