Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Advisor, Employee Relations for an onsite role in Canaan, CT. This 04+ months contract-to-hire opportunity involves advising senior leaders on employee relations, investigations, performance management, and compliance.

The role requires deep knowledge of US employment law (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, USSERA) and at least 6 years’ experience handling complex casework. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of direct Employee Relations experience
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred, in Management, HR or psychology
• Experience with senior leadership client groups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with multiple stakeholders
• Experience conducting internal investigations and providing recommendations

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coaching and employee relations advice to senior leaders
• Review corrective actions, performance management and termination documentation
• Identify and analyze legal/compliance risks in employment situations
• Collaborate with Legal team on complex issues to mitigate risk
• Support accommodation processes for ADA and workplace restrictions
• Stay current on employment laws and best practices
• Conduct internal investigations and report findings
• Develop training through HR/Global Learning initiatives
• Support annual performance review processes and trend analysis
• Lead or participate in projects to improve employee relations practices
