Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is actively seeking a Senior Advisor- Employee Relations for an onsite, 6+ month contract in Columbus, NE (and Canaan, CT).

The role focuses on coaching leaders, driving compliant HR practices, and managing sensitive employee relations cases with a strong emphasis on investigations. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years in employee relations, deep knowledge of US employment laws, and a background in supporting senior client groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of direct Employee Relations experience managing a wide variety of complex, high risk and sensitive employment-related cases from intake to investigation to resolution.
• Knowledge of US employment law, ADA, FLSA, DOL Title VII, FMLA, and USSERA.
• Experience supporting Sr. Business Unit, Function or Region leadership level client groups.
• Experience with Exempt Level Professionals and Sr Level Management with direct experience providing strategic guidance on employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day coaching and employee relations advice to senior leaders, managers, HRBPs and associates.
• Reviews corrective action, performance management, and termination documentation.
• Identifies and analyzes legal/compliance risks in employment situations.
• Partners with Legal and Accommodation teams on complex issues to mitigate risk.
• Develops and delivers manager effectiveness and HR compliance training.
• Supports annual performance review processes and analyzes employee relations trends.
