Job summary

Park Nicollet, part of HealthPartners, seeks a Senior Employee and Labor Relations Consultant to lead ER/LR programs, advise leaders, and ensure lawful, fair practices across the organization. You will handle complex investigations, policy interpretation, and collaborate with legal and compliance to reduce risk.

The role involves coaching leaders, guiding unions, coordinating training, and representing the organization in regulatory matters including EEOC interactions and various inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of progressive experience in employee and/or labor relations.
• Experience managing complex investigations and advising senior leaders.
• Experience responding to regulatory agencies (e.g., EEOC, MDHR, WDWD).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on employee and labor relations matters and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead and manage complex investigations and advise leaders on performance management and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training on employment/labor law and performance management processes.
• Support labor relations, including contract interpretation, grievances, and negotiations.
• Lead responses to legal/regulatory inquiries and support audits and compliance efforts.
