Job summary

HealthPartners’ Park Nicollet campus is seeking a Senior Employee and Labor Relations Consultant. This senior advisor will lead organization-wide employee relations initiatives, interpret contracts, and counsel leaders on complex investigations while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to influence across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• At least five years in employee or labor relations.
• Experience handling complex investigations.
• Experience responding to regulatory agencies (EEOC, MDHR, WDWD).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on employee and labor relations for leaders and HR partners.
• Conduct complex investigations and advise on resolutions.
• Train leaders on employment/labor law and performance management processes.
• Lead or support grievances, negotiations, and union-related activities.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and support compliance audits.
