Job summary

Marsh, based in New York City, seeks a Sr. Communications Consultant to design and implement workforce communication strategies, improving employee experience and engagement across clients and industries.

This hybrid role emphasizes leading client engagements, managing teams, and driving revenue growth. You will develop and monitor budgets, oversee staff, and conduct client meetings while applying advanced communication expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in English, business, communication, journalism, human resources or related field of study.
• 10+ years’ experience in a human resources consulting environment with proven ability to generate revenue by acquiring new clients, and experience managing and developing a team of professionals.
• At least 5+ years’ experience writing corporate internal HR communications, such as compensation, benefits, and policies and/or applicable experience
• At least 5+ years proven track record of large, complex sales
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with proven expertise in technical, marketing and persuasive writing
• Excellent organizational, project management, and leadership skills; oral presentation and client relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale client projects focusing on communication strategies, plans, and deliverables that articulate objectives and employee engagement.
• Lead employee-facing communication engagements across industries.
• Develop and monitor budgets, deadlines; oversee staff; delegate and peer review client work; lead client meetings.
• Generate revenue through acquisition of new clients, cross-selling, and expanding relationships to offer Marsh offerings.
• Gain in-depth understanding of clients’ culture to tailor communication strategies requiring significant behavioral change.
