Marsh Agency in the United States is seeking a Senior Consultant on the Employee Health & Benefits (EH&B) team to design, implement, and manage client benefit programs that balance cost, compliance, and employee engagement.

You will partner with HR and finance leaders to deliver data-driven solutions, lead renewal strategies, and mentor junior staff while contributing to business development through proposals and presentations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting or related role within a brokerage, carrier, or HR department.
• Strong knowledge of health and welfare plan design, compliance, and funding arrangements.
• Exceptional client relationship management skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary benefits advisor for a portfolio of mid-to-large market clients with strategic guidance on plan design and funding.
• Lead client meetings, renewal strategies, and annual planning with internal teams.
• Evaluate and recommend medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits.
• Analyze claims data and benchmark information to identify cost drivers and actionable recommendations.
• Navigate ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA requirements with clients.
• Partner with carriers to negotiate renewals and ensure service excellence.
• Mentor Consultants, Account Managers, and Analysts on the EH&B team.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and presentations.
