Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic communications advisor to VP-level executives within the engineering team and other key partners, advising on communications strategy including content, forums, and timing.
• Use AI as an integrated part of the communications workflow, including research, synthesis, strategic planning, audience insights, content development, and rapid iteration.
• Build and execute global communications strategies for major moments that inform and inspire the global employee base.
• Lead end-to-end employee communications for organizational changes, partnering with HR and leadership to clarify strategy and rationale, and managing timing, sequencing, and delivery across channels.
• Build communications plans that amplify talent initiatives and reinforce culture and values; develop and maintain digital communications channels, and provide onsite event production support for all-hands meetings and other employee events.

A leading professional networking company seeks a Senior Employee Communications Manager to serve as a strategic communications partner to engineering leadership, building and executing employee communications strategies that inform, engage, and inspire the global workforce.

Senior Employee Communications Manager Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic communications advisor to VP-level executives within the engineering team and other key partners, advising on communications strategy including content, forums, and timing.

Senior Employee Communications Manager Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Employee Communications.
• Working knowledge of Office 365 and Google Workspace is preferred.
• Experience leading technology communications and partnering with engineering leaders, including strong familiarity with technology updates and actuality, is preferred.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into narratives the average team member can understand, is preferred.
• Experience supporting organizational change and change management communications, including helping team members understand and navigate transitions, is preferred.
• Strategic thinking with strong business and technical acumen is preferred.
• Leadership agility and the ability to advise and influence senior leaders on communications approach, messaging, and tactics is preferred.
• Advanced, hands-on experience using AI as an everyday communications tool and thought partner, with demonstrated ability to accelerate research, synthesis, and content iteration while applying responsible AI practices, is preferred.

Shift

• Hybrid: 2+ days per week onsite, with Wednesday required.
