Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services in the United States is seeking a Senior Benefit Consultant to support client accounts with benefit strategies and programs. You’ll serve as the primary day-to-day contact, coordinate between clients and vendors, and lead renewals with proactive problem solving.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of client coordination or claims management experience (or a HS diploma with 10 years), a valid license, and willingness to travel about 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years client coordination and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 10 years client coordination and/or claims management experience.
• License required.
• Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Professional designation may be preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for all day-to-day service issues and other inquiries for all assigned clients; liaise between client and vendors to resolve issues and identify process improvements.
• Prepare and manage all client deliverables.
• Oversee implementation projects with the Consultant to ensure service deliverables meet sales guarantees and client expectations.
• Develop strong business relationships with clients through in-person visits and calls at multiple levels within the client organization.
• Guide on regulatory issues impacting health and welfare benefit plans and review SPDs and plan amendments for accuracy.
