USI Insurance Services in Irvine, CA seeks a seasoned health and welfare compliance attorney to monitor laws (ACA, ERISA, Code, HIPAA, COBRA) and translate them into client-ready materials. You will work with a national team, develop education tools, and deliver presentations to internal staff and external clients.

The role requires a J.D., 4–8 years in employer-sponsored welfare plans, strong writing/research skills, and travel up to 20%. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe is expected.

Formación

• J.D. and law degree required.
• 4–8 years of compliance experience with employer-sponsored welfare plans.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and Adobe products.
• Strong leadership and public speaking abilities.
• Excellent research and writing; ability to interpret statutes and regulations.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
• Effective oral and written communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and communicate laws affecting health and welfare plans (ACA, ERISA, Code, HIPAA, COBRA).
• Develop and present materials on compliance topics to sales teams and clients.
• Collaborate with internal partners, clients and carriers.
• Research, edit and publish articles and alerts for clients.
• Support strategy development for ERISA, ACA, and related issues.
• Create and deliver presentations to staff and external clients.
• update compliance library resources and tools.
