Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an Employee Benefits Attorney to monitor and communicate evolving health and welfare laws, including ACA, ERISA, the Code, HIPAA and COBRA. You will develop materials, present to clients, and support internal sales teams on compliance matters.

The role requires 4–8 years of related experience, strong leadership, and excellent written and public speaking skills. Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe products is expected. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree and J.D. required.
• 4–8 years of experience in health and welfare compliance matters.
• Strong leadership and public speaking abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and communicate laws affecting health and welfare plans (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA).
• Develop and present compliance materials to internal and external clients.
• Research and interpret statutes and regulations; support client service teams.
• Create education tools and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date compliance resources; assist with strategy and problem solving.
