Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a Benefits Analyst to analyze financial data for clients with standard to complex benefit programs, including fully insured and self-funded plans.

You will prepare analyses, model renewals, and benchmark financials while coordinating with carriers to negotiate options and prepare executive summaries for clients. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential for success in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits or related field.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a state Life & Disabil ity insurance license.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data for fully insured and self-funded clients.
• Develop analyses including market review, renewal projections, and claims utilization.
• Prepare client-facing executive summaries and renewal options.
• Negotiate and market coverage for new business quotes and renewals with carriers.
• Maintain carrier relationships and review renewal illustrations.
• Support onboarding and knowledge of internal analytics tools.
