Job summary

USI Insurance Services seeks a driven analyst to independently analyze financial data for large self-funded benefit programs and deliver tailored analyses for high‑value clients. The role emphasizes market reviews, renewal projections, and claims utilization to support cost control and strategic planning.

You will work with carriers to obtain and compare quotes, prepare renewal options with executive summaries, and coach junior analysts while maintaining superb client communications and strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits or related field.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a state Life & Disability insurance license.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial analytics for self-funded client portfolios (typically 1,000+ lives).
• Prepare customized analyses including market reviews, renewal projections, claims utilization, and cost benchmarking.
• Develop strategies, plan models, and cost reduction opportunities with client-specific illustrations.
• Negotiate with carriers for quotes and plan options; prepare executive summaries.
• Mentor analysts and support team development; participate in peer reviews.
