Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an analyst to develop financial deliverables for clients with standard to complex benefit programs, including fully insured and self-funded plans. The role covers market reviews, renewal projections, and claims analysis, with carrier interactions and client communications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in employee benefits, a high school diploma (college degree preferred), and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits or related field.
• High School Graduate. College degree preferred.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a state Life & Disability insurance license.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.
• Ability to manage and negotiate multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information and create financial deliverables for clients with standard to complex benefit programs.
• Prepare standard analyses with occasional customization (market review, renewal rate projections, claims utilization).
• Develop and model financial funding analyses and cost reduction opportunities.
• Serve as primary contact with insurance carriers for quotes and renewals; prepare renewal/new plan options with executive summaries.
• Review carrier renewal illustrations and analyze experience and claims utilization to advise action items.
