Job summary
Amentum is seeking a senior EMP/E3/EMC engineer to support naval defense programs in Dahlgren, VA. The role requires extensive experience in electromagnetic pulse engineering, assessment, testing, and mission analysis, with a focus on shipboard systems and high-level security clearances.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or technical discipline.
- 12 years of knowledge and expertise in EMP/E3/EMI/EMC.
- 7 years of experience in EMP/E3/EMI/EMC.
- Active Secret or Top Secret US government clearance (US citizenship required).
Responsibilities
- Perform EMP research, analysis, requirements definition and development, assessments, test and evaluation.
- Assess EMP/HEMP effects on shipboard configurations and systems and perform mission analysis.
- Plan MIL-STD 461 testing at the NOTES facility.
- Develop technical reports and conclusions meeting sponsor requirements.
- Support LLCW testing, data acquisition, analysis, and SOP updates.
