Job summary

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Senior EMI/EMC Test Engineer to support hardware teams in bringing satellite products to market. You will own reliability and certification testing, including EMC, homologation and safety requirements.

You will perform design verification, risk mitigation and qualification testing, travel for NRTL testing as needed, and maintain thorough documentation throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of related working experience in EMI/EMC test engineering.

Responsibilities

• Self-manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Interact professionally with Test Engineering, Hardware & Software Engineering, and Mechanical CAD teams.
• Work independently or with direction as required.
• Provide risk assessments based on design concepts or models and develop design enhancements.
• Review drawings, parts lists, specifications, and ensure test fixtures integration.
• Write test plans, reports, and CDIL/CRDL documents per project guidelines.
• Report, track and monitor product performance and defects for improvements.
• May travel to NRTL labs for compliance testing.
