This role focuses on verification and validation testing of engineering designs prior to market release. You will develop test plans, procedures, and automated tests in multiple languages, support integration and production testing, and report on performance and defects with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in a test engineering role for SATCOM or related systems.
• Experience with C/C++, Python and Java for test automation.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-188-165B/165A and RF testing.
• Familiarity with RF calibration and remote test equipment control.

Responsibilities

• Develop verification test procedures from system, hardware, and software requirements.
• Create and modify automated test software in Python, C, and Java.
• Support integration, design verification, first article and production testing.
• Troubleshoot complex SATCOM equipment and software.
• Test RF/waveform features including MIL-STD-188-165B, DIFI IEEE-ISTO 4900-2021.
• Report performance, defects, and create technical charts and schematics.
• Set up test fixtures and document results.
