Job summary

You will work with senior engineers to develop procedures, interpret MIL‑STD‑461/DO‑160 guidance, and prepare formal test reports while supporting occasional extended hours and weekend testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years experience; or Master’s with 3+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Hands‑on experience with electronic hardware testing and EMI/EMC test environments.
• Basic working knowledge of EMI/EMC standards such as MIL‑STD‑461 and/or DO‑160.
• Ability to operate oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF preamps, and other EMI test equipment following lab procedures.
• Willingness to support extended work weeks and occasional weekend testing.
• Ability to work onsite full‑time in Woodland Hills, CA.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and execute EMI/EMC tests at equipment and subsystem level per requirements.
• Configure test setups and instrumentation in EMI chambers and bench environments with safety and quality focus.
• Operate EMI test equipment to run campaigns (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, preamps, LISNs, antennas).
• Develop and refine EMI/EMC test procedures, configurations, and reports.
• Apply MIL‑STD‑461 and DO‑160 guidance to support testing and data review.
• Analyze data to identify non‑compliances; document observations for root‑cause analysis.
• Support test readiness and lab readiness with internal and external facilities.
• Maintain configuration‑controlled documentation and formal reports for reviews.
