Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience or graduate degree with 2+ years.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of related experience.
  • Experience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464 and RTCA/DO-160 preferred.
  • Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF gear.

Responsibilities

  • Create EMI Control Plan, Test Plan, Test Procedure and Test Report.
  • Assist technicians with pre-test setup and calibration measurements.
  • Perform design and test activities to achieve EMI compliance.
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate, design, test and evaluate EMI programs.
  • Support system and sub-system development and design reviews, including grounding and cabling considerations.
  • Possess ability to obtain a US security clearance (preference for current clearance).
