Job summary
L3Harris Broadband Communication Systems (BCS) in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks an experienced EMI/EMC engineer to design support and test state‑of‑the‑art products for military use. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related EMI/EMC experience, or graduate degree with 4+ years.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (prefer current clearance).
- Experience with MIL‑STD‑461, MIL‑STD‑464 and RTCA/DO‑160 specifications.
Responsibilities
- Create an EMI Control Plan, Test Plan, Test Procedure, and Test Report.
- Perform pre-test setup and calibration measurements prior to testing.
- Design and test to achieve EMI compliance.
- Support system and sub-system development and design reviews including grounding and isolation requirements.
- Participate in the proposal process for EMI/EMC programs.
- Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, test, and evaluate E3 programs.
